Or: My Blog’s Name in Books

As you all might already know, I read according to my mood and that’s honestly, not the best way for one who’s attempting to put a dent in their humongous TBR pile. I find that picking a random title from a jar isn’t the most conducive method too, ’cause you know, mood-reader. And, going through my TBR pile in a chronological order does help, but only for a bit.

guilty
Those 300+/- books in my TBR pile makes me feel super guilty, urk. I should’ve never counted them.

So, a few days ago, I saw this post by Inge over at the Belgian Reviewer, and thought, ‘Now, that looks fun and doable!”

The My Blog’s Name in Books meme/tag (really, are these known collectively as book memes or book tags? And what makes one the former or the latter? I’ve never figured it out) was created by Lynne @Fictionophile and the rules are:

The Rules
  1. Spell out your blog’s name. (this is where you wish your blog’s name was shorter LOL)
  2. Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter. (Note you cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodread’s TBR)
  3. Have fun!

As you can see, I cheated a little for some of the titles, since there’s somehow an abundance of books in my TBR pile that starts with ‘The’ 😂 Also, not all the books listed here are in my Goodreads TBR list since I only keep the ones that I don’t have a copy of but want to read there (Do any of you do this too?).

Anyway, I’m definitely going to start reading all the books in this list I’ve created once I’m done with Bad Romance by Heather Demetrios!

Have you read any of the above titles? Or see any that you like and would like to read too? Let me know in the comments! ❤

    1. I will!!! I’m going to make myself stick to this list and I’m very determined to read all of them by the end of summer. Also, I’ve heard/read a lot of great things about The Night Circus and that just makes me all the more excited to read it! 😊

(Also, I get you about the never stop singing praises part 👌😂 I do that with all the books I love too.)

  1. So cool that you did this one and didn’t let your long blog name hold you back! Thank you for the lovely shout out Aria!! You’ve listed some pretty interesting titles! I only read one of them, They Both Die at The End which was an ok read but I expected a bit more (I’m in the minority here though) but I really want to read Our Little Secret and The Last Place You Look. Happy reading!!

    1. Thank you!! Honestly, it took me a few days to do this but I was pretty determined since it IS a good way for me to decide what to read next+decrease my TBR pile 😂 Ohhh, I’d better lower my expectations for They Both Die at the End then, thanks for the heads up! Also, no problem for the shout out! I saw it first on your blog after all ❤

    1. Thank YOU for creating this fun meme! ❤ And goodness, now that you’ve put it that way, it seems so obvious all along. I almost feel silly for asking, but then again, it’s better to know now than never 😂 Also, I can relate with you on that. I like doing tags but definitely not the aspect of tagging others because of the pressure.
