Hello everyone!
I’ve been writing six word memoirs for some years now and I thought, why not extend it to here? It might be fun, after all. And so, since it’s already the middle of the year, I’ve decided to describe the books I’ve rated 5 stars so far, in six words.
(Note: The following six words may not properly encapsulate the following books, so if you’d like to know more about them, check out my reviews [if there is], their respective Goodreads page and the other reviews available there!)
1. The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman
Matthew Shepard’s death cleared clouded visions.
~ * ~
2. Between The Notes by Sharon Huss Roat
Discovering one’s self on life’s road.
~ * ~
3. Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
| Goodreads |
The Wretched dream of richer lives.
~ * ~
4. The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh
My art is just that: art.

5. The Kabuliwallah by Rabindranath Tagore
His daughter grew up a stranger.
Annnnd, that’s it!
I’m sort of surprised that the among five books I’ve rated 5 stars thus far, two are plays, one’s a short story and one’s a classic. In 2016, I’ve rated a total of 44 manga/comics and no other books 5 stars (it was my year of binge-reading comics and manga σ(´し_`〃)ゞ). On the other hand, in 2015, I’ve only rated 3 books 5 stars and they’re all novels. I guess that while I’m reading a large variety of books, I’ve also gotten pickier. Hmm…
What are your 5-star reads so far this year? Do you have a lot, or a few like me? Comment down below cause I’d love to know! (Seriously, I do. This is like an indirect-ish book suggestion thing and I always love adding more books to my TBR pile 😂).

I really liked this post. I haven’t read any of these books, but I am intrigued by the descriptions.
I had a look and out of the 21 books I have read this year, 10 are 5 stars. I think I might have a problem 😛
